Ashley Chabala has been involved in dance nearly her
entire life. From the age of 5, Ashley has been in organized dance classes and by the age of 10 began performing
in competition dance. Finding a home at Hintze Dance Center, Ashley participated in numerous award winning
groups as well as awards for solos and duets.
Ashley continues to expand her dance knowledge by
attending training regularly, recently taking classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. This dedication
has brought success as a choreographer with award winning duets and small groups under Ashley’s
guidance.
Teaching dance is Ashley’s passion and also her way to
give to others the great experiences she had.
Giving back to those that have given her, Ashley has
joined Hintze Dance Center and offers diverse dance regiments of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and drill team
classes. A recent graduate of Cy-Woods High School where she participated on Crimson Cadets Drill Team for
3-years, Ashley hopes to pass on the wonderful experience of drill team to others by helping them with the
skills required to make the team.
Ashley’s gift and dedication to teach dance yields many
rewards including a $1,000.00 scholarship from Hintze Dance Center towards her college education. Ashley is a
current student at Lone Star College in the Cypress, Texas area and would like to thank the many people who have
helped her to become the successful young woman she is today to include her family, Ginny Hintze, past and
current teachers and her students who continue her drive to show that dance is indeed
life.
