Autumn
Autumn Rosemond has been a member of the Hintze staff since 2008.  She is trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, clogging, tap, and drill team technique.  In her early days, she studied at Marsha Woody Academy, Debbie’s Dance Etc, Dance Rhythms, and Taylor Dance Studio and was a member if her high school drill team in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area.

During her competitive dance years, Autumn earned many awards at competitions and received a scholarship from the Roland Dupree Jazz ‘N Tap Expo workshop.   As a teacher and choreographer, Autumn earned numerous awards, including overall and choreography awards at regional and national competitions.  In 2006 and 2007, some of her dances earned the opportunity to perform in the Starbound Top 10 Showcase at its national competition, earning two spots in the top 3.

Additionally, Autumn has attended many workshops including The Pulse, learning from many of the choreographers from “So You Think You Can Dance,” and the Dance Teacher Summit in New York City in 2006 studying under Bob Rizzo and special guest Mia Michaels, among many others.

Throughout her tenure at Texas State University-San Marcos, Autumn also studied various genres of dance and performed in college concerts.  She graduated with honors from Texas State with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.

In addition to teaching dance, Autumn currently works in the accounting/finance field and is an artist in Second Generation, a professional contemporary modern dance company.  Being a member of the company, she has been presented with the opportunity to perform at various events around Houston and in other areas of the nation.
