
Terrill Mitchell is a professional dancer, teacher, and
choreographer who relocated to Houston, TX after receiving his B.A. in Dance from Point Park University’s
Conservatory of the Performing Arts. He is a third year member of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company (The
Met), where he had the opportunity to perform choreography from Jason Parsons, Kiki Lucas, Jason McDole, Kiesha
Lalama-White and Peter Chu just to name a few. Additionally, Terrill has worked with the Pittsburgh Opera,
Attack Theater, and West Virginia Public Theatre. Some of Terrill’s other credits include a lead in an off
Broadway production of “Contact,” originally directed by Susan Strowman and John Weidman. A work by Whitney
Moncrief, director of Hubbard Street II, “Fauella,” and an industrial with Visible Changes
Salon.
As a teacher and choreographer, Terrill has choreographed numerous award winning routines for studio competition,
drill teams and youth companies. He has choreographed for the Houston Met TOO Youth Company as well as the
Southwest Visual and Performing Arts High School in California. He also serves as a judge and master teacher for
Crowd Pleasers Dance. Terrill is a highly sough out teacher in the greater Houston and Dallas area and most
recently served as a guest teacher for the Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA).
